The support is for the levers of a power-driven typewriter or similar office machine, bringing returning levers to rest before they can be actuated again and thus reducing noise, having a cushion pressed against a bracket by a tension spring. To the side of the plane in which the spring (5) works and offset from the bracket (1) the cushion (2) has a bead (2d). It also has an aperture (2a) matching the cross-section of the bracket and with a lateral intermediate space allowing the cushion to tilt slightly.
