Insulated window for caravan - has plastic double layer with one layer bent over for hook hinge

The caravan window has a double plastic layer, with a space over the large part of the area, and linked at the edges. The top edge is extended and formed over into a hooked lip (7). This hinges the window in the frame while a securing catch (18) closes the bottom edge against the frame. The unitary construction of hook and window provides a secure fitting with minimum sensitivity w.r.t. thermal expansion. The double plastic layer can enclose a third, inner pane for added thermal- and sound insulation.
