PURPOSE:To make electrostatic printing higher in speed by constituting the heights of recording electrode and recording electrode connecting wires comprising a plurality to a staircase shape and forming the part between the recording electrode, recording electrode connecting wires and the electrode lead-in wires into double construction. CONSTITUTION:Plural helical recording electrodes are arranged on a rotating cylindrical circumference. There are a plurality of recording electrodes 2 on the circumference of a rotating drum 1 and these electrodes are connected by recording electrode connecting wires 5 and are of the same potential. The recording electrode connecting wires 5 are coupled by electrode lead-in wires 8 and electrode intersection points 10, and the electrode lead-in wires 8 are on the outside circumferential part of a cylindrical insulator 11. The recording electrode connecting wires 5 are provided on the outer side of the outside circumferential insulator 12, and these assume double construction by way of insulators in-between. The rotary drum 1 rotates in the direction shown by an arrow 13. The electric discharge beings from 2a of the recording electrodes 2 and the discharging progresses in the 2b, 2c, 2d directions. The electrostatic printing may be made higher in speed by such multihelical electrode system. |
