The washer for domestic and public tableware consists of a flexible guide arm (2) on the end of which is at least one cleaning implement (5,6) which can be rotated. The guide arm (2) is in the form of a flexible hose, containing a drive shaft (3) for the implements (5,6). The drive shaft is driven by pref. an electric motor positioned at the other end from the implement (5,6) which consists of at least one brush, with metal or plastic bristles, or of a sponge with rough surface. The cleaning implement (5,6) is exchangeable by means of a coupling (4) on the end of the drive shaft (3). There is a gap (12) between the two parallel implements (5,6).
