PURPOSE:To reduce the number of the counter steps and then obtain the measurable inclination width, by giving a start to the phase/voltage inclination with the preceding signal among the reference signal and the comparison signal and then giving a sample holding to the inclination with the back signal to discriminate the type of the preceding signal. CONSTITUTION:The FF5 is reset periodically at the front fringe (d) of the reference signal (b) and then performs an inverse action by the connection of ''1''. Thus the output Q returns to ''0'' with the preceding signal between the front and back fringes of the signal (b) in the clock pulse input (f). In case a coincidence is obtained between the signal (a) and the back fringe (e) of (b), the FF is reset with the coincidence signal (g). And the signal (i) keeps ''0''. The signal (i) triggers the phase-voltage inclination generating circuit 10 through the edge detecting circuit 6 and by the phase at the front fringe of the signal (i), and then gives a start to the inclination waveform. Then the resetting is given by the signal alpha after the holding is given up to the top of the inclination. This output ''0'' is held at the sample holding circuit 11. Then the phase difference voltage output P between the signal preceding between the front and back fringes of the signal (b) and the back signal is obtained at the output of the circuit 11 and then converted into the voltage in which the gain/loss of the phase between the both signals increases and decreases by the polarity switch circuit 12. |
