The invention relates to a stamp, in particular of the type constructed for being portable in a bag or a pocket, and being easily preparable for use. The stamp is of the type where a stamp block is displaceable between a position abutting the inkpad, and an operating position in which the stamp block is abuttable against a surface to be provided with a stamp print. A stamp according to the invention has an arm 14, carrying the stamp block 18 in a swingable way. The arm 14 is swingably connected to a retainer part 2 for enabling the stamp block 18 to swing between the position abutting the inkpad 40 and the active position at a distance from the inkpad. The stamp further comprises a link device 22, turning the stamp block, at swinging of the arm for moving the stamp block, between a position generally in parallel with the arm and a position crosswise to the arm in the active position. <IMAGE> |
