The distance setting raster for a process camera has overlapping filter stripes, each with a selective transmission. The stripes are placed on transparent plates which are stacked to achieve the effect. The raster does not require any costly engraving and staining. It can be produced photographically. The separate stripe patterns are produced on filters which, when set one behind the other, produce the raster effect.
