PURPOSE:To form a loudspeaker diaphragm of large specific elasticity, flexural rigidity and internal loss, by mixing aramide fiber into thermoplastic fiber. CONSTITUTION:Into high-concentration polyethylene fiber of thremoplastics, 15wt% aramide fiber and 5wt% glass fiber are mixed and then stirred and strained to form a sheet. Then, the sheet is heated by far ultraviolet rays to melt a high- concentration polyethylene base and while this high-concentration polyethylene base is being softened, cold press is carried out to form a loudspeaker diaphragm. Thus, the loudspeaker diaphragm of large specific elasticity, bending rigidity and internal loss can be obtained. The same effect can be obtained by using carbon fiber as a substitute for glass fiber. Therefore, using this diaphragm makes it possible to form a loudspeaker of small distortion and flat sound-pressure frequency characteristics. |
