PURPOSE:The titled dewatering machine which permits easy mounting and dismounting by disposing an oil coating device, dewatering devices and brush rollers on one-piece frame and rotating said frame to the casting ring diameter direction or retreating therefrom. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water sticks on a casting ring 1 by becoming water drops C; at the same time, soot, scale, grease, etc. also stick on said ring. These unnecessary materials are removed by removing soot, scale, grease, etc. with the brush rollers 21, 22 disposed on the inner side of a frame 19, and removing water drops with the hot wind blown from dewatering devices 23, 24. Finally, oil or grease is coated on the casting ring with an oil coating device 25 to prevent molten metal from seizing on the casting ring 1. With this constitution, the frame 19 may be easily moved around a shaft 20 if the need for removing the casting rings arises to readjust the casting ring 1 or owing to the damages, etc. of the casting ring 1. |
