PURPOSE:To facilitate the fitting action of the protecting member by coating an image carrier with the protecting member and providing a winding device fitted to one edge of the protecting member with the slit part to insert the other edge of a protecting member into a slit part and to fit the protecting member with a slight touch. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive drum as the image carrier, a developing device, a transfer device, etc., are arranged in the main body of a laser printer and the photosensitive drum is coated with a protecting sheet (the protecting member) 52. The protecting sheet 52 is wound by a winding shaft 53 being the winding means. A slit part 65 is formed on the winding shaft 53 and a projection part 66 is formed on the edge of the protecting sheet 52. The projection part 66 of the protecting sheet 52 is inserted into the slit part 65 of the winding shaft 53 and the protecting sheet 52 is easily fitted to the winding shaft 53, thereby simplifying the fitting action of the protecting sheet 52. |
