PURPOSE:To prevent the continuous locking of a capacitor induction motor due to overload and obviate the burning of the motor by a mechanism wherein difference is formed in torques in the forward and reverse revolution of the motor, changing over the forward and reverse revolution is made by means of single- pole double throw switchs. CONSTITUTION:Main coils 4 are wound to a plurality of slots formed along an inner diameter 3 of a stator core 2, and auxiliary coils 5 which their conductor diameters are the same as the main coils 4 and their winding number is 1.03- 1.15 times as many as the coils 4 are wound so as to have the phase difference of 90 deg. at an electrical angle to the main coils 4. The movable contacts f, e of single- pole double throw switches 9, 10, for example, are each connected to fixed contacts d, a, the main coils 4 are directly excited by means of a power source 8 while phase advancing currents are fed to the auxiliary coils 5 through a capacitor 7, and great torque can be obtained. The direction of rotation can periodically be changed without constraint because little torque is acquired when the movable contact (e) is connected to a fixed contact (b) under this condition and phase advancing currnents are fed to the main coils 4 through the capacitor 7 while the auxiliary coils 5 are directly excited by means of the power source 8. |
