PURPOSE:To obtain the apparatus easily enabling a sufficient rotary torque and high speed rotation by means of a plurality of fixed electrodes arranged along the rotation path of a rotor closely facing the circumference of an electret rotor. CONSTITUTION:Two electret rotors 3 are symmetrically mounted to a rotating shaft 5 through a span 4, a plurality of fixed electrode 8 are provided along the rotation path of the rotors 3 closely facing the circumference 3a thereof and slots 9 are formed on the boundary between these adjacent two components. For example, the electret rotors are charged negatively. With switching of the electrode 8 to a charging state from positive to negative vice versa at a specified cycle, an electric line of force is generated in each slot to drive the rotors. This allows a plenty of electric line of force to be generated by widening the area in which the circumference 3a of the rotors faces the fixed electrode 8 in order that they may affect the circumference 3a even positioned far from the rotating shaft 8 to increase the rotary torque. |
