<p>The clamp (7) secures the edges (37', 38') of two adjoining glass panes (37,38) to a glazing rail (1,1',3,5) partic. of a greenhouse. The rail is a sectional member whose web (1,1') has slotted openings for the clamp. The clamp has two plate-like portions (8 and 9,9') engaging the lower (37) and the upper (38) pane respectively whilst the pane (38) rests on a transverse face (12) of the clamp. One side of the clamp has two spring lips (16,24) of which one (16) is sprung in the plane of one portion (8) and the other (24) is sprung (26) at right angles to the other portion (9). The other side of the clamp has stop faces (20,32) arranged such that the faces (20,32) and the ends (17,29) of the lips (16,24) enclose the web (1,1') between them when the clamp is fitted.</p> |
