Arrangement for loading and unloading of goods in warehouse facilities of such kind where an automatic stocking and unstocking occurs into and out of stacked goods carriers, crates, wherein the crates in a stack are provided with guides at their facing sides, so that the crates form a self-stable stack on top of an underlying stand. The lowermost crate in each stack can be lifted out from storage by a transport truck with a lifting and lowering platform, whereupon the next higher crate is lowered onto the same stand as supported the crate that was fetched by the transport vehicle. The transport vehicle 9 is provided with a chain transporter or the like, arranged so that as soon as the vehicle arrives at a loading dock or the like it transports the goods 10 located in the crate, possibly with its pallet 16, in the direction toward the loading dock, which is provided with a similar pair of transport chains 8, designed to take over the load with or without pallet and move it entirely out from the crate.
