PURPOSE:To maintain the advantages the conventional notebook has and at the same time overcome the defects of the conventional notebook, by using the key instead of the writing tools and the random access memory in place of the recording paper respectively. CONSTITUTION:The write key is pushed when the data is written. With push of this key, the writing becomes possible into the random access memory 18. For instance, the kana (Japanese syllabory) shift key 9 is pushed, and then the alphabet of the data key 5 is pushed based on the spelling rule of the romaji. And thus the input is possible in katakana (square form of Kana). For example, with push of ''O'', ''O'', ''I'', ''W'' and ''A'' each, the katakana ''OOIWA'' is displayed on the data display 3. At the same time, the code of the katakana is recorded to the memory 18. For reading the contents of the record, the read increment key 11 is pushed after designation of page. Thus the contents of that one page is displayed on the display unit 3.
|
