<p>The snap-lock consists of two halves (11,12). When the halves are to be assembled the leading edges (57) of plates (51,52) are introduced into the gap between the jaws inner faces (26,26' (26,26'). The two halves are then pushed together in the direction of the arrows (f1,f2) until the tapered teeth (21,21') begin to engage with the mating ends of the plates (78,78). At the same time, the extremities of the plates enter the holes (45,46). The two halves finally snap together to form a positive assembly when the teeth of the jaws locate the mating faces of the plates and the shoulders (62) of the plates are up against the stop (44).</p> |
