The thrust bearing comprises an annular plate bolted to the member 2 and disposed between surfaces 20, 21 of the swivel head. The radial bearing 24 is self-aligning, and is axially spaced from the thrust bearing and close to driving gear 22. The diameter of the plate 18 is preferably between a quarter and a third of the largest overhang of the jib arm.</p> |
