PURPOSE:To enable use of the DC motor in both AC and DC by engaging a rectifying diode via bent leaf spring, connecting both electrodes of the diode to the leaf spring, and then removing the bent portion of the spring, thereby integrating the brush plate spring with the diode. CONSTITUTION:The leaf spring 3 is bent approximately in -shape, and long and short pieces 3a, 3b and a bent piece 3c are formed. The rectifying diode 5 is inserted between the long piece 3a and the short piece 3b. After connecting both electrodes 7, 8 of the diode 5 to the pieces 3a and 3b respectively, the bent piece 3c is removed. In this manner a brush leaf spring 3 can be integrated with the diode 5, and even if the power supply is connected reversely in polarity, the motor may not rotated reversely, and can be used in both AC and DC. Further, the assembling of the motor can be easily executed. |
