PURPOSE:To save the power consumption by making the power consumption zero substantially and in terms of steadiness for both the driving circuit and the termination circuit of the external wiring. CONSTITUTION:The output current switch emitter-follower CSEF circuit 1 of the current switch type logic circuit is provided at the sending end of the external wiring 3, and then the complementary electrostatic inductive transistor SIT driving circuit 2 whose idle current is nearly zero is added to the output stage of the circuit 1. The Schotkky barrier diode pair SBD1 and SBD2 are connected in parallel to the receiving end of the wiring 3 with installation of the clamping circuit 4 possessing the two threshold voltages, and the load CSEF circuit 5 is provided at the receiving end. Then the H and L output levels of the circuit 1 are set to the two threshold levels of the circuit 4, and thus the SITQ4 of the circuit 2 is turned on which the output H with the SITQ5 turned on with the output L each. Thus the power consumption at the circuits 2 and 4 each becomes zero in the steady mode. The circuit 2 functions as a buffer having a high input and low output impedance in the transient mode of the rise and fall, and thus can supply a large current necessary for driving of the wiring 3. |
