摘要 <p>Zeolite encapsulation material contains a type A zeolite with a typical elementary cell (AxMyNaz)(AlO2.SiO2)12.(NaAlO2)d.wH2O (in which A is K or Cs; M is a divalent metal; d is 0-1; w is a positive no.; x, y and z are such that x+2y+z is 12; x is 3 to less than 10; y is greater than 0 (pref. greater than 1 if M is K) and up to 4.5). Pref. M is Mg, Ca, Sr, Zn, Cd, Hg, Mn, Fe, Co or Pb. The zeolite is produced by exchanging the required amt. of K in a K-type zeolite with M or of Na in a Na-A zeolite with K and M simultaneously or consecutively. The material has much better encapsulation properties than usual and is used for encapsulating mols. with a greater dia. than the effective adsorption pore dia. of the zeolite. It is useful for encapsulating and storing H2 and other gases, e.g. He and C2H2.</p>
