PURPOSE:To make it possible to use eight coils in series-connection which form one- pole and one-phase at duplex voltages in a single winding by a method wherein the coils are divided into two groups to make the electric potential smaller and connected in parallel at low speed and voltage. CONSTITUTION:A rotary electric machine having 48 slots in a stator is connected as 1XDELTA at high speed and high voltage, 2XDELTA at high speed and low voltage, 2XY at low speed and high voltage and 4XY at low speed and low voltage, and used at the duplex voltage of 1-2 by carrying out the number of pole changes of poles and 4 poles. A number of coils forming the one-pole and one-phase in case of poles (at high speed) are made 8 single windings, and the 8 series-connected coils combined in such that the electric potential becomes smaller, for example, are divided into the coil groups of the 1st, 4th, 5th and 8th and the other two coil groups U1-U4' and U4-U2', and the two coil groups are connected in parallel in the connection of 4XY at low speed and low voltage. |
