PURPOSE:To obtain a high-accuracy humidity measured value in a high humidity area and a low humidity area by correcting an error in the humidity measured value due to variance in characteristics of a humidity sensing element. CONSTITUTION:A humidity detecting element 3, a temperature detecting element 13, and a compensating resistance element means 11 which compensates the variation in resistance value of the elements 3 and 13 beyond a prescribed range are connected to a rectangular wave pulse signal generator 7, and a rectangular wave pulse oscillator 1 outputs a rectangular wave pulse signal which corresponds to variation in humidity and temperature by a capacity element which forms CR time constant circuits with the resistance values of the humidity detecting element 3, temperature detecting element 13, and compensating resistance element means 11. The ratio of the frequency of the rectangular wave pulse oscillator 1 when a SW 10 is closed and the frequency when a SW 30 is closed is obtained as a normal characteristic value by varying and adjusting the counting time of the frequencies. |
