PURPOSE:To obtain a subject endless belt in which a strength a joint part of a belt is improved and tensile substances of the belt are arranged uniformly, by a method wherein a double-sized, mold-releasing paper is inserted into the joint part of the belt to be molded, and a plurarity of short-sized toothed belts, in which a rubber is made easily peelable from a longer of a tensile material layer, are joined together. CONSTITUTION:A rubbered elastic canvas 1, a beltlike double-sized, mold-releasing paper 3, a rope tensile body 2, the double-sided, mold-releasing paper 3, and an unvulcanized rubber sheet 4 are placed in order on an outer circumferential surface of a cylindrical toothed mold M. A width l of the mold-releasing paper 3 must range for a distance of minimum 2 teeth, and the edges 3' are positioned at a center of a recessed groove G. The vulcanization causes flow of the rubber into the recessed groove G except the part covered with the mold-releasing paper, and a molded belt, and a molded belt, having a rope layer 2 whose overall surface is exposed, is obtained. The molded belt is cut into a narrow toothed belt with an end, and the ropes 2 are abutted zigzag on to each other (the length of l1 must be 1 tooth length or more, and that of l2 3 teeth length or more). The canvas 1 is also sewn together for joining together, and an unvulcanized rubber is further added for joining together. |
