Photographic colour prints or transparencies whose stability is improved by a light protecting layer containing an ultra violet absorbent, the prints carrying on one or both faces a protective layer of which the film-forming substance consists of a substance- in which n is >1, R1 and R2 are H, alkyl, aryl, substituted aryl, halogens or -COOR3, R3 being H, alkyl or aryl, and an epoxide of the formula:- X(R1)(R2)(R3) in which X is an aliphatic, aliphatic, aromatic or heterocyclic residue or residues and R1, R2, R3 may be alkyl, aryl or glycidyl ether but at least one should be glycidyl ether.
