For the capillary coloration. there is used as a coloring precursor a compound of the general formula: (FORMULA) wherein R represents COOR', CONH<u2>u, CONHR', CONR'<u2>u, CONH-NH<u2>u, CONH-OH, CN, CH<u2>uOH, CHO, CH(OH)(OR'), CH(OR')<u2>u; R' representing an alkyl residue having 1 to 5 atoms of carbon. The compositions allowing the capillary coloration contain these coloring precursors defined in the formula (1) either alone, or mixed with known coloring precursors and/or with capillary colorants having a direct action. These compositions may further contain particularly natural amino acids, the esters and/or amides thereof The compositions disclosed are physiologically well tolerated and allow particularly the coloration from dark to brown-reddish hair with a natural look. |
