<p>1-(2-Oxo-2-substd. phenyl)-alkyl-piperidino (or morpholino or piperazino)-piperidines prepn. Heterocyclic cpds. of formula (I): (where R1 is H or C1-3-alkyl; R11 is H, carbamoyl or COOC1-3-alk; NR3R4 = NAlK2, pyrrolidinyl, morpholino, piperidino or 4-Me-piperazino; A1 and A11 = (CH2)1-3 with a total of 3-4C atoms; X is Hal, OH, Me, MeO, CF3, NO2 or -OCH2O-; n is 1-3) are hypocholesterolaemic agents prepd. either by (1) reaction of the portion P-Y of the molecule with the portion H-Q in a solvent in the presence of an acid-binding agent or (2) by reaction of the portion S with the portion HO-T in the presence of a condensing agent e.g. a strong acid or Lewis acid. Specif. claimed are 1- 2-oxo-(p-Cl-phenyl)-ethyl -4-morpholinopiperidine, 1- 2-oxo-2-(p-F-phenyl)-ethyl -4-morpholinopiperidine, 1- 2-oxo-2-(p-F-phenyl)-ethyl -4-dibutylaminopiperidine.</p> |
