Flame battery for pig carcass bristle removal - with linked combustion chambers for each gas burner

A flame battery for the final stage of the removal of bristles from pig carcasses is connected to a common gas supply. Each burner has its own combustion chamber which is linked to that of the adjoining burners by short pieces of pipe. Both ends of such a pipe penetrate inside the combustion chambers; one end is cut off square but the other is cut obliquely, with the end facing the arriving gas like a spoon. This creates a cross flow from chamber to chamber and prevents the extinction of some of the burners which would have to be constantly observed and re-ignited by blow lamp.
