<p>The timbers (1) are nailed to the wall to leave a small gap (h) around all four sides of the wall and each timber has sharp spikes (2) at 1 cm centres and pointing in towards the wall. A panel of the covering (4) is pressed into the gap with a flat tool, such as the blade of a screwdriver, until the covering is hooked onto the spikes and stretched tight. Excess covering can be trimmed off with a pair of scissors and the small edge remaining can be tucked into the gap.</p> |
