PURPOSE:To realize free assignment to a satellite circuit in accordance with the generation of a call from a terminal by selecting the number of transmitted burst in a frame in accordance with the speed of a signal to be transmitted on arrival of a request for signal transmission from the terminal. CONSTITUTION:The T-second period of a transmitted-signal frame consists of synchronizing bursts Sa-Sn and data bursts D1-DN with the constant number (n) of bits and time positions for frames of respective bursts are fixed and arranged, providing data bursts D1-DN with information transmitting performance of mT (bit/second) for every frame. Further, period T of the transmitted-signal frame is divided into l subframes with period Ts for each frame and in each frame, time positions of synchronizing bursts Sa'-Sn' and N data bursts D1'-DN' are fixed and arranged. In respose to a request for signal transmission from a terminal, synchronizing bursts Sa-Sn in a frame are selected in accordance with the speed of a signal to be transmitted, so that assignment to a satellite circuit will freely be realized in accordance with a call from the terminal. |
