<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a desired cathode operating temperature by fitting a supporting body made of metal and of a desired area with a ceramic vessel, welding it with a supporting cap and adjusting a contact area. CONSTITUTION:A heat wire 13, the surface of which is electrodeposited and sintered with Al2O3 is completely enveloped by two vessels 14 made of alumina ceramic of high purity and keeping this state, it is installed on a cathode cylinder 11. The ceramic vessel 14 is brazed with a supporting body 16 made of koval alloy. To support the ceramic vessels 14, the welding bonding between a KV supporting cover 15 and the KV supporting body 16 is made and further welding is made to the opening part of the cathode cylinder 11. Pressure welding is made wholly to the surface corresponding to the supporting body 16 and the supporting cover 15. Applying carbonate powders 12 of alkaline earth metals to the top surface of the cathode cylinder 11, this structured body is supported by KV wires and assembled into an electron gun of an electron tube.</p> |
