Two layers each consisting of a cross-linked foamed polyolefin with a density of in each case 25 to 250 kg/m<3>, preferably 25 to 90 kg/m<3>, are bonded together with the interposition of a stabilisation grid. By means of the stabilisation grid, which may consist, for example, of thermoplastic material, metal or glass fibres, the laminate receives a high ratio of stiffness to weight and a high resistance to creeping without the thickness of the laminate or its entire thickness having to be excessively high. For example, each of the foam polyolefin layers has a thickness of at most 12 mm, preferably of 2 to 10 mm, whereas the stabilisation grid has a thickness of up to 5 mm. |
