The machine for de-burring one side of long steel strips has two gear driven rollers mounted on parallel axes, one above the other. The lower roller (32) is mounted in fixed bearings but the upper roller (28) is mounted in a block (36) which can slide in a vertical guide. The distance between the rollers can be adjusted by a screwed rod (42) and knob (46). The steel strip is mounted on a beam (60) and abuts against a guide strip (56). There is a gap in the beam (60) through which the lower roller projects and an adjustable tool (86) is mounted by the side of the gap. (DS).
