Self cleaning modular fume extraction hood - uses filters for heat recuperation, cleaned in tank filled with cleaning fluid

The self cleaning modular fume extraction hood can be used with filter elements also acting as heat recuperators. Combined heat recuperating and filtering elements with other filters can be placed in a vat. Deflectors are positioned to direct hot gases carrying grease and dirt into the vat. The elements are cleaned by filling the vat with hot water with detergent added. The vat is constructed so that the oils and solids floating on top can be discharged by overflowing into the casing of the hood, and then directed towards a drain or a cleaning tank. The extractor includes a fast acting fire extinguisher.
