PURPOSE:To miniaturize a high voltage transformer and to reduce cost by transferring the duty ratio of the input pulse given to a primary side of a booster pulse transformer to a secondary side high voltage winding, directly feeding the high voltage output to a charging device from this secondary side high voltage winding and performing DC electrification. CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with low voltage power source 1, the high voltage pulse transformer T1 and a driving circuit 2 for the primary side switching transistor Tr1 of said transformer T1, a pulse width modulation circuit PWM 3, an error amplifier 4 an electrifying device 5 which is an electrifying means, and a photosensitive drum 6. Then the duty ratio of input pulse given to the primary side of the booster pulse transformer T1 is transferred to the secondary side high voltage winding, and the high voltage output is fed directly to the electrifying means 5 from this secondary side high voltage winding. Thus a driving frequency can be drastically extended and the high voltage transformer is miniaturized and the cost is reduced. |
