PURPOSE:To raise the efficiency of reflection of fluorescent screen by a procedure in which a fluorescent substance layer is coated with an organic substance solution, dried, given a metal back layer, and then subjected to a baking treatment for eliminating the occurrence of blisters. CONSTITUTION:A fluorescent screen 9 is formed inside a panel 1 and then the screen 9 is coated with a polyvinyl alcohol solution containing 0.1-10% Al2O3 particles of an average grain size of 5-20mu by a rotary coating method to form the film 20. Then, the film 20 is coated with a solution containing 2-6% an acrylic resin by a spray method and then dried to form the acrylic resin film 22. Then, the metal back layer 23 is formed on the film 22 and then subjected to a baking treatment. |
