<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of deviation in longitudinally ruled line and longitudinal deviation in an image by a method wherein, a recording position is specified by a pointer means corresponding to the order of heating element groups arranged in two or more lines, and the heating element lines are so controlled as to be respectively correspondingly driven on the specified recording position. CONSTITUTION:According to recording data and a control code such as a line feed or a carriage return which are suppled to a CPU 22 through a signal line S1 from a host device 21, various types of drive signals are supplied to a driver 23 from the CPU 22 through signal lines S2 and S3 to drive a dual head 1 and respective motors etc. under control to conduct recording. When driving the dual head 1 under control through the driver 23, a pointer specifying means 31 specifies alternately line-direction positional pointers which should be recorded with a front head 1F and a read head 1R, for example, where a pointer of a left margin is determined to be zero. Therefore, a recording is to be carried out with the front head when the pointer is on an even-number position including zero and with the rear head when the pointer is on an odd- number position.</p> |
