PURPOSE:To provide method of manufacturing card having very clear cutting engraved image, by directly recording on card base e.g. plastic or metal plate from original of letter, picture or image photograph by cutting engraving method. CONSTITUTION:In a mthod of monufacturing cutting engraved image directly on card 9 from photograph original, the original is scanned spot by spot by light source in scanning head 1, and the reflected light produces photo electric current corresponding to darkness of the original 8. The current passes processing and amplifying circuit which controls cutting depth of engraving needle of engraving head 2 into card 9. Movement along reciprocating lines of engraving table 4 is decided by vertical movement corresponding to the darkness of the original added by intermittent motion of constant period corresponding to desired number of lines and reciprocating speed of the table. |
