<p>The steering device of a caterpillar vehicle comprising a combustion engine (1) with a gearing box (3), possibly automatic, and a steering shaft (4), comprises two planetary driving mechanisms (8-10) the three axes of which are connected to the driving shaft of the engine, to the driving means of the caterpillars and to a hydrostatic motor (16-19) driven by the combustion engine (1), respectively. The driving of the hydrostatic motors allows the steering of the vehicle through variations of the driving speed of the caterpillars. </p> |
