<p>The inlet supply manifold for a combustion engine with four or six cylinders in line comprises a distribution chamber (2) and two symmetrical groups of individual inlet pipes having approximately the same length (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9). The pipes have each a first portion (9) located in the plane of the distribution chamber, followed by a second angled portion (11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16) and a third straight portion arranged in parallel to the contiguous portion and provided with a device for connection to the inlet supply piping of the combustion chambers. The third straight portions are arranged at right angles with respect to the first portion and in a plane parallel to the said first portion. The intermediate angled portions are bent so as to form a U connected to the third straight portion. The first portion (26) of the intermediate angled portion is bent at 180 and the second portion is comprised of two elbows at 90 . </p> |
