A spring lying in a housing unit, and a fork-shaped connecting piece for a draw hook, are incorporated in a draw and impact device, esp. for rail-bound rolling-stock, the fork part being surrounded by a socket-type draw flange, with sealing sleeve attached to the hook. The frame (1a) and draw hook guide (1b) consist of a single attachment piece (1), made by welding, pressing or casting. This has a downward-facing prolongation (1c), for suspension of a screw coupling not located in the operative assembly.
