发明名称 Shaft connection for crane or crab running wheels - has lining bushes surfaced with sintered PTFE and lead
摘要
Bearing bushes are fitted between the whole inner circumference of a hollow shaft, and the outer circumference of a shaft which is plugged into it, and is driven by the hollow shaft through a key. The bushes present a sliding surface to at least one circumference, and they have a slot over at least part of their axial length, through which the key projects radially. The wall thickness of the bushes is selected at such a low level that the capacity of the key to transmit torque is not seriously reduced. The bearing bushes have a sliding surface formed by a sintered layer of a mixt of PTFE and lead. They may be formed from a laminate having a steel backing with an intermediate layer of tin and bronze powder, the pores of which are filled with a mixture of synthetic material and lead. The sliding surface formed on this is a mixt of PTFE and lead sintered as stated. The arrangement is partic applicable to the running wheels of cranes. The formation of rust which normally makes it difficult to separate the two shafts without special equipment, is prevented, and ease of dismantling is ensured.
