PURPOSE:To make it possible for a transportation vehicle which travels automatically on detection of the guide line to travel straight in any direction, by driving the two wheels which lie on one diagonal line in the four wheels of the transportation vehicle and using the other two wheels as driven wheels to the driving wheels. CONSTITUTION:At the four corners underneath the rectangular truck board 20 of the truck section 19 of a transportation vehicle, two front wheels 21 and two rear wheels 22, four wheels in total, are provided. One of the front wheels serves as a driving wheel 23, and it can be rotated forward or reversely and controlled by the motor 24 through the bevel gears 25 and 26. One of the rear wheels which lies diagonally to the driving wheel 23 also serves as a driving wheel 27, which is driven similarly by the motor 28. Each wheel is rotatably mounted on the truck board 20 through the steering shaft 29. Each of the steering shafts 29 is rotatable by the steering motor 31 through the bevel gear series 33, 34 and 36 and the connecting rods 35, 37 and so on, and the front wheels and rear wheels are turned pivotally in the mutually opposite directions to perform steering operation. |
