PURPOSE:To make the titled device simple in construction and inexpensive and make possible rectangular oblique pipe end cutting and edge preparation by mounting a frame body encircling a pipe to plural sets of clamps in such a manner that it becomes tiltable with respect to the pipe axis and movable in the radial direction of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:A shoe 26 is fixed to a body 22 in such a manner that the shoe 26 becomes rectangular to the body 22. An annular frame body 11 is mounted to a pipe 1 and a gas cutting device 71 is mounted to the front face of a rotary ring 61. The frame body 11 is then centered by rotating the lock screws 25, 35 of the frame body 11 so that the spacing (g) between the end 84 of the torch 81 set at a right angle to the pipe axis 6 and the outside circumferential surface 4 of the pipe becomes constant over the entire circumference. Next, a motor 47 is driven to rotate the rotary ring 61, i.e. the device 71 along the face 4 to cut the pipe end square to the axis 6. After the cutting, the device 71 is changed to a cutting device 91 and the cut face is finished to a required groove angle by a blade 106. |
