<p>The linkage consists of a male half (5) and a female half (2). These are constructed from round or square, steel or glass-reinforced plastics rod. Each link is in the form of an elongated 'U' and welded to a length of angle-iron (1,4). The male half is bent through 90 deg. and the female half is bent through an angle of 15 deg. to 40 deg. depending on the thickness of the material of the links. The linkage is fixed to the edge of the table by screws through holes in the angle-iron. A firm connection is achieved through the length of the links. Tables and boards may be fixed end to end or in 'L' or square arrangements.</p> |
