PURPOSE:To prevent the shear of position in printing due to a timing-axis error, etc. by providing a means for detecting the timing-axis error, etc. of a recording signal and thereby controlling the quantity of deflection of an ink beam. CONSTITUTION:From a recording signal cotaining the change of timing-axis inputted in a terminal 17 a synchronizing signal is separated in a scan synchronizing signal separating circuit 11 and this synchronizing signal is compared with a standard signal from a circuit 10 in a phase comparing circuit 12. A phase error signal from the circuit 12 is integrated in a low-pass filter 13, thereby a timing-axis error signal being obtained. This signal is proportional to the error of position of an ink beam on the printing paper. Then the signal is adjusted for its level by a level adjuster 14 and, after that, is summed up with the recording signal in a summing circuit 15, being inputted in an electrification electrode 4 through an output circuit 16. By this the quantity of electrification of the ink beam is controlled and the timing-axis change error of the quantity of deflection of the ink beam is corrected, thus the position of the ink beam on the recording paper 1 is corrected. |
