PURPOSE:To realize high reliability by compensating the deterioration of a light emitting body and sensitivity deterioration due to dirt on the surfaces of the light emitting body and photodetectors by providing hood parts to the light emitting body and direct-light and scattering-light detectors. CONSTITUTION:Fixed jig 10' provided with a cylindrical hood part is used which fixes light emitting body 2 such as LED in a lens-equipped column type package, and direct-light detector 3 and scattering-light detector 4 consisting of silicon photodiodes, etc., of the same type as above. Thus, the extremely simple constitution in which slits and shielding plates of the front part of a conventional light emitting body are omitted is employed and the surface contamination rates of the light emitting body and photodetectors can be made low, so that a sensor of high reliability can be obtained. |
