<p>The tennis trainer comprises a suspension assembly (6) for a tennis ball (7) which is rotatable about a horizontal axis (4,5) and vertically adjustable (telescopic pillar 1). The assembly (6) comprises a rigid portion (8) which extends from the rotatable shaft (5) and, at its end (9), carries a flexible portion (10) to which the ball is fixed. The rigid portion (8) is longer than the flexible portion (10). The flexible portion (10) is pref. shorter than the distance of the end (9) from the vertical pillar (1). The telescopic pillar may have a clamp (11) permitting height adjustment of the suspension assembly. It may be non-rotatably secured in a floor stand (2,3).</p> |
