JOURNAL BEARING FOR PRINTING MACHINE

In a bearing for the cylinder of a printing machine, a cylinder spigot (1) is journalled in a flanged bearing (3) arranged in a bore of the printing machine frame (7). The flanged bearing (3) is slidably mounted on the spigot (1) by means of a bush (2) and by means of a bush (4), provided with a centring collar (5) the width of which is less than the depth of the bore in the frame (7), on frame (7). An adhesive medium (8) is provided between the inside wall (6) of the bore in the frame (7) and the bush (4) on either side of centring collar (5) to compensate for alignment errors and to cement the bush (4) to the frame (7).
