<p>The rotary mower for grass etc has three mower units coupled together in a V-pattern, each comprising a frame accommodating a rotor on a vertical axis. It is coupled to a tractor three-point mounting and driven from the power take-off shaft. The two outer units are adjustable sideways to vary the working width. Adjustment takes place along an arc of a circle (19), whose centre (16) coincides with that of the middle mower unit (10), in conjunction with a parallel guide equipped with a clamp securing all units (10,14,15) rigidly together in each working position. The mower is supported by dishes turning freely under the rotors.</p> |
