<p>PURPOSE:To make the sludge separation vessel among each oxidation vessel etc. unnecessary and to simplify treating process, by providing one sludge catching vessel able to connect the oxidation vessel of each treating step. CONSTITUTION:When the concentration of inflow waste water is remarkably high and also, BOD concentration is high, excess film of living things is increased on the surface of the contact material 8 and the above film is exfoliated and then, is mixed in the waste water. On this occasion, excess air is sent from the air supply tube provided on the bottom part of oxidation vessel temporarily and slidge is exfoliated positively and then, the sludge liquid is sent to the sludge catching vessel 9 through the sludge water pipe 10. Exfoliated sludge is settled and separated and then, fixed living things film on the material 8 is made in a proper quantity. At the same time, separated liquid is sent to the second oxidation vessel 2 through the return pipe 11 and then, oxidation treatment is carried out again. Separated sludge is taken out of the system.</p> |
